Summary
Connecticut DSS is temporarily waiving ICF-IID (Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities) inpatient leave day limitations for hospitalization and home leave during the COVID-19 public health emergency. ICF-IID providers can continue billing for services as if individuals were still present in the facility, even when they are on hospitalization or home leave.
Action Required
ICF-IID providers should continue current billing practices for individuals on hospitalization or home leave, billing as if the individual were still present in the facility. Contact Provider Assistance Center at 1-800-842-8440 for billing questions Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
