Summary
Connecticut Medicaid (CMAP) is temporarily allowing out-of-state physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants to enroll and provide in-person services during the COVID-19 emergency. These providers must be employed by Connecticut practices and cannot provide telehealth from their home states.
Action Required
Connecticut practices only: If hiring out-of-state providers during COVID-19 emergency, enroll them as performing providers through www.ctdssmap.com enrollment wizard. Fax copy of their home state license to 1-877-899-5401 with Application Tracking Number. Email ATNs to ctproviderenrollment@dxc.com. Note: This policy is from 2020 and likely no longer active.
