Summary
Connecticut Medical Assistance Program (CMAP) is updating reimbursement rates for 5 COVID-19 related laboratory procedure codes from interim rates to 100% of Medicare rates, retroactive to their original effective dates. All previously submitted claims will be automatically reprocessed and adjusted accordingly.

No immediate action required: CMAP will automatically reprocess and adjust all previously submitted claims for codes 87426, 86408, 86409, 87636, and 87637. Billing team should monitor EOBs for automatic adjustments and updated reimbursement amounts for these COVID-19 lab services.
