Action Required
Immediately: Update billing system to allow CPT codes 94664 and 94667 for telemedicine when billed with modifier GT (healthcare facility) or 95 (patient home). Ensure place of service reflects where service would have been performed in-person, not POS 02. Train staff that telephone-only respiratory services cannot be billed. Verify supervising physician/APRN NPI is used as rendering provider for respiratory care practitioners.
