Summary
Connecticut Medicaid (HUSKY Health) is launching the sixth cycle of their Obstetrics Pay for Performance program for dates of service July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022. Eligible obstetric providers can earn bonus payments in addition to regular fee-for-service payments by meeting specific prenatal and postpartum performance measures, but must complete online notification forms to participate.
Action Required
By July 31, 2022: Eligible obstetric providers must register for the P4P program via HUSKY Health's secure provider portal if not previously enrolled. Complete online obstetric notification forms within 14 days of first prenatal visit and first postpartum visit for all HUSKY Health patients. Ensure prenatal care includes required risk screenings, aspirin prophylaxis protocols, and BP monitoring prescriptions.
