Update prescribing protocols to use preferred medications when possible. For non-preferred drugs, obtain prior authorization through the Pharmacy Web PA tool or paper forms. Pharmacies can dispense one-time 14-day supplies using PA number '999999999' and PA type '1' while PA is pending, followed by 5-day emergency supplies if needed by calling 1-866-409-8386.
