Summary
Connecticut Department of Social Services is offering a 1% rate increase to Home and Community Based Waiver (HCBS) providers who participate in a Value-Based Payment initiative by completing two requirements: executing a data sharing agreement with Connecticut's Health Information Exchange (Connie) and completing Trauma Informed Care Racial Equity training for supervisors and managers. Both requirements must be completed by February 1, 2022 to receive the supplemental payment based on claims from July 1, 2021 through February 28, 2022.
Action Required
By February 1, 2022: HCBS providers must 1) Execute data sharing agreement with Connie HIE by submitting Interest in Connecting Form by January 30, 2022, and 2) Enroll supervisors and managers in Trauma Informed Care Racial Equity training by January 10, 2022 and ensure completion by February 1, 2022.
