Summary
Home health service reimbursement rates have been increased retroactively to August 1, 2021. Previously paid claims will be automatically adjusted, but providers who billed at the old rates must manually resubmit claims through the web portal or electronic transactions to receive the higher payments.
Action Required
Immediately: Home health billing teams must resubmit all claims with dates of service from August 1, 2021 forward that were billed at the old rates via www.ctdssmap.com web portal or 837 electronic transaction to obtain higher reimbursement. For EVV providers using Santrax system: update Master Rates in Sandata database to usual and customary rates, fully recoup old claims, roll back in EVV, then resubmit. Claims equal to or above new allowed amounts will auto-adjust on January 25, 2022 and February 22, 2022 remittance advices.
