Summary

Before June 13, 2022: All Connecticut providers must complete web-based training sessions in May for the new medical authorization portal. Billing and authorization staff must learn portal registration, navigation, PA request submission, and clinical documentation upload procedures. Update workflows to submit PA requests through the new portal for inpatient admissions, outpatient surgeries, medical equipment, home health, and therapy services.
