Summary
Connecticut is eliminating the HUSKY Plus program effective May 1, 2022, and merging all services into HUSKY B. All previously covered services remain the same but will now be billed under HUSKY B with existing authorizations automatically transferred.
Action Required
By May 1, 2022: Billing team must update claims submission to use HUSKY B coverage for all services previously billed under HUSKY Plus for members under 19. Review HUSKY Health Provider Benefit Grids for updated prior authorization requirements. Submit all new PA requests after May 1st using HUSKY B guidelines - existing HPP authorizations will be automatically converted by CHNCT.
