Summary
Evernorth Behavioral Health has partnered with Albertsons Specialty Care to provide an alternative administration site for long-acting injectable (LAI) antipsychotic medications. Providers can now refer patients to Albertsons pharmacies when unable to administer LAI antipsychotics in their office.
Action Required
Immediately: Providers should identify patients who may benefit from LAI antipsychotics but cannot receive administration in-office. Update referral workflows to include Albertsons Specialty Care as an option. When prescribing, send prescription to patient's local Albertsons pharmacy (including Tom Thumb, Sav-On, Randalls, United, Amigos, or Market Street) with 'for pharmacist to administer' in prescription notes.
