Immediately: Billing team must update patient eligibility verification processes to recognize extended 12-month postpartum coverage for Connecticut Medicaid and CHIP beneficiaries whose pregnancies ended on or after April 1, 2022. Verify coverage extends through the last day of the 12th month post-pregnancy. Note that HUSKY B Prenatal Group members are not eligible for this extension until April 1, 2023.
