Connecticut Medical Assistance Program (CMAP) providers must register for a new medical authorization portal to submit prior authorization requests. The portal launches June 13, 2022 for inpatient/surgical services and June 27, 2022 for home care, medical equipment, and therapies.
Action Required
By June 13, 2022: Existing users log into the new medical authorization portal at www.portal.ct.gov/husky using current credentials for inpatient and surgical prior auths. New users must complete Medical Authorization Portal Access Request Form and register online after June 6, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. By June 27, 2022: Use new portal for home care, medical equipment, and therapy prior authorizations.
