Summary
Connecticut Medicaid (CMAP) updated Addendum B with new payment rates for hospital outpatient procedures with status indicators G or K, effective July 1, 2022. New procedure codes were added and existing codes were modified, with system updates loaded on June 27 and July 27, 2022.
Action Required
Immediately: Outpatient hospital billing teams must download the updated CMAP Addendum B V23.2 from www.ctdssmap.com Hospital Modernization page. Review all procedure codes marked with 'G or K' for payment rate changes, 'New' for CMS additions, and 'X' for code/status indicator changes. Update billing systems with new rates and codes.
