Summary
Connecticut Medicaid (DSS/CMAP) is implementing October 2022 updates including new ICD-10 codes and DRG changes effective October 1, 2022. Inpatient DRG claims with dates of service October 1, 2022 and forward may temporarily suspend with error codes 0693 or 0920 until the updated 3M Grouper system is loaded.

Monitor suspended inpatient DRG claims with dates of service October 1, 2022 and forward that receive EOB codes 0693 'Invalid Principal Diagnosis' or 0920 '3M Grouper Error'. Do not resubmit these claims - they will automatically reprocess once DSS loads the updated 3M Grouper system. Continue monitoring DSS monthly messages for system update notifications.
