Summary
Connecticut Medicaid is implementing CMAP Addendum B October 2022 updates with new status indicator H for non-payable procedures, and updating ICD-10 codes which may cause inpatient DRG claims to suspend until the new 3M Grouper is loaded. New COVID vaccine CPT codes have been added and previously denied claims need resubmission.
Action Required
Immediately: Monitor for new status indicator H on CMAP Addendum B indicating non-payable procedures. Resubmit any previously denied claims using new COVID vaccine CPT codes 91313, 91312, 0124A, 0134A, 91314, 91315, 0154A, and 0144A. Watch for suspended inpatient DRG claims with EOB codes 0693 or 0920 - these will auto-reprocess once new 3M Grouper loads. Billing team should check www.ctdssmap.com for updated CMAP Addendum B posting.
