Summary
Connecticut Medicaid has updated CMAP Addendum B with new COVID vaccine CPT codes (90677, 90611, 90622) and additional COVID vaccine codes (91313, 91312, 0124A, 0134A, 91314, 91315, 0154A, 0144A). DRG weights and payment parameters will be updated effective January 1, 2023, and several hospitals have upcoming re-enrollment deadlines.
Action Required
Immediately: Update billing system with new COVID vaccine CPT codes 90677, 90611, 90622, 91313, 91312, 0124A, 0134A, 91314, 91315, 0154A, and 0144A from the updated CMAP Addendum B. For codes 90611 and 90622, ensure billing includes both vaccine administration with Revenue Center Code 770 and vaccine product with NDC. Resubmit any previously denied claims using these new codes. Before January 1, 2023: Prepare for updated DRG weights and payment parameters that will affect inpatient hospital reimbursement calculations.
