Summary
Connecticut Medicaid will update physician-administered drug rates on the Behavioral Health Clinic fee schedule to 100% of Medicare ASP pricing effective January 1, 2023, and add new code J0575 for buprenorphine/naloxone for medication-assisted treatment. Billing teams must download the updated fee schedule and begin using the new reimbursement rates and code.

Immediately: Billing team must download the updated Connecticut Medicaid behavioral health clinic fee schedule from www.ctdssmap.com to obtain new reimbursement rates for physician-administered drugs effective January 1, 2023. Add code J0575 (Buprenorphine/naloxone, oral, greater than 10 mg buprenorphine) to billing system for medication-assisted treatment services. Review PB 2018-10 for physician-administered drug billing requirements.
