Summary
Connecticut Medicaid implemented Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) requirements for home health services effective March 23, 2023. Edit 3327 will now appear on claims in post-and-pay status (informational only, doesn't affect payment) when EVV data is missing, giving providers time to implement EVV systems.
Action Required
Immediately: Home health providers must implement Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system for all Medicaid home health services. Choose between the State's existing EVV system (SAM) or an approved third-party Alternate EVV system.
