By May 12, 2023: Billing teams must stop using all emergency COVID-19 billing procedures and revert to standard pre-pandemic policies for telehealth services, therapy services, laboratory testing, vaccine administration, and home health services. Update billing system rules to remove temporary COVID-19 modifiers and coverage expansions. Review and update encounter forms to reflect standard telehealth and service delivery requirements. By November 12, 2023: Remove any Home and Community Based Waiver emergency billing procedures including TU modifier for overtime and Meals on Wheels changes.
