Action Required

Action needed
By May 12, 2023: Home health and hospice providers must immediately transition all services to in-person delivery only - no more telehealth/remote services allowed. Billing team must ensure face-to-face encounters occur within required timeframes (90 days before or 30 days after start of services). Update Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems for Connecticut Home Care, Personal Care Assistance, Acquired Brain Injury, and Autism Waiver services. Review and implement guidance from referenced provider bulletins for medication administration and therapy evaluation billing.
