Summary
Gainwell Technologies is experiencing a system issue causing home health prior authorization effective dates to incorrectly display as 05/12/2023 in the SAM system for specific procedure codes from 03/30/2023 forward. Additionally, some home health procedure codes may have been duplicated in error during an EVV system update, requiring providers to verify rates are attached to avoid billing issues.
Action Required
Immediately: Home health providers must log into SAM system and verify all procedure codes have rates attached in Master Rates to prevent claims from appearing as 'Not OK to Bill'. Monitor PA effective dates for codes G0151, G0152, G0153, G0162, S9123, S9124, T1002, T1003, T1502, and T1503 - system fix expected by April 26, 2023. Submit EVV questions to ctevv@gainwelltechnologies.com if needed.
