Summary
Connecticut Medicaid now requires all behavioral health providers to complete mandatory electronic attestation through their provider portal. Paper attestations are no longer accepted, and claims will be denied without proper attestation completion.
Action Required
Immediately: All behavioral health providers (psychologists, LCSWs, LMFTs, LPCs, LADCs) must log into their Connecticut Medicaid provider portal at www.ctdssmap.com and complete the electronic attestation under the 'Behavior Health Attestation Tab'. First, complete required training at Carelon website. Set up eDelivery account per PB2019-15. Group practice owners and all clinicians must each submit separate attestations. Claims will be denied with EOB codes 1043, 1046, or 1047 without proper attestation.
