Summary
HUSKY Health (Connecticut Medicaid) has updated COVID-19 vaccine procedure codes effective September 11, 2023. New codes 90480, 91318-91322 must be used for vaccine administration and products, with all previous COVID-19 vaccine codes now end-dated.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must update system to use new COVID-19 vaccine codes 90480, 91318, 91319, 91320, 91321, 91322, and 91304 for HUSKY Health claims. Remove all previously used COVID-19 vaccine codes from billing system as they have been end-dated. Note that for children 6 months-18 years, only bill administration codes (not vaccine product codes) due to CT Vaccine Program coverage.
