Summary
Connecticut Medicaid (HUSKY Health programs A, B, C, and D) has updated their Laboratory fee schedule effective January 1, 2024 to incorporate new HCPCS codes and maintain HIPAA compliance. Lab services will be reimbursed at 70% of Medicare rates, with rates subject to revision once the 2024 Medicare Clinical Laboratory Fee Schedule is published.

By January 1, 2024: Billing team must download the updated Laboratory fee schedule from www.ctdssmap.com (Provider > Provider Fee Schedule Download > Lab) to ensure accurate reimbursement rates for Connecticut Medicaid lab services. Outpatient hospitals must continue following CMAP Addendum B for all outpatient services.
