Due to a cybersecurity incident at Change Healthcare (CHC), pharmacy providers may be unable to submit claims to Connecticut's Medicaid program (CMAP). Affected pharmacies should work with their systems help desk to change networks, coordinate with nearby pharmacies that can process claims, or dispense medications using downtime procedures without collecting patient payment.
Action Required
Immediately: Pharmacy staff should contact Dispensing Systems Help Desk to change Value Added Network (VAN)/Switch if unable to submit CMAP claims. Coordinate with surrounding pharmacies to transfer prescriptions for CMAP patients or use downtime procedures to dispense medications without payment.
