Summary
Connecticut Medicaid has temporarily suspended three EOB denial codes (3331, 3332, 3327) for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) mandated home health services due to system issues. Gainwell Technologies will automatically reprocess affected claims with dates of service from 4/1/2024 forward.
Action Required
Immediately: Do NOT resubmit any home health claims that were denied with EOB codes 3331, 3332, or 3327 for dates of service 4/1/2024 and forward. Billing team should monitor the Connecticut Medical Assistance Program (CMAP) website for updates on when these edits will be reactivated. Gainwell will automatically reprocess impacted claims within the current financial cycle.
