Action Required
By May 1, 2024: Billing team must update systems to recognize new Claim Adjustment Reason Codes (CARCs) and Claim Adjustment Group Codes (CAGCs) on X12 835 remittance advice. Monitor www.ctdssmap.com for updated CMAP Addendum B V25.1 with 2024 HCPCS changes. Verify new ICD-10 surgical codes are recognized once diagnosis grouper is installed. Hospital providers must ensure re-enrollment applications are submitted with adequate time for review before their due dates to avoid dis-enrollment and claims processing interruptions.
