Connecticut's Medicaid (HUSKY) eligibility verification system will now include member renewal dates in responses starting April 30, 2024. This allows providers to proactively alert patients about upcoming renewals to prevent service disruptions.
Action Required
By April 30, 2024: Contact your trading partner or clearinghouse to inform them about updates to the X12 271 Beneficiary Eligibility response format that will now include renewal dates in the 2110C MSG segment. Update staff procedures to use the new renewal date information to proactively notify HUSKY members of upcoming renewals.
