Summary
Connecticut Medicaid updated Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) requirements for Personal Care Services, allowing providers to use alternate EVV systems starting May 8, 2024. All providers must transition from Sandata Mobile to Sandata Mobile Connect by September 4, 2024.
Action Required
By September 4, 2024: Providers offering Personal Care Services under Connecticut Medicaid waiver programs (ABI, Autism, CHC, MH, PCA) must transition from Sandata Mobile to Sandata Mobile Connect application. Download and implement SMC from Sandata on Demand website. For providers using alternate EVV systems, allow 24-48 hours for visits to appear in MMIS before submitting claims (versus 24 hours for Sandata users).
