Connecticut Medicaid is enforcing Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) claim edits starting July 1, 2024, meaning home health claims without proper EVV data will be denied instead of paid. Providers must transition from Sandata Mobile to Sandata Mobile Connect by September 4, 2024.
Action Required
By July 1, 2024: Home health providers must ensure all visits are properly recorded in EVV system with confirmed status (02-Confirmed, 03-In Process, or 04-Closed) before claim submission. Allow 24 hours for Sandata visits or 24-48 hours for Alternate EVV visits to load into MMIS. By September 4, 2024: All providers must transition from Sandata Mobile to Sandata Mobile Connect application. Claims will be denied without proper EVV verification starting July 1st.
