Summary
Connecticut Medicaid (CMAP) requires behavioral health providers to complete attestations via the Provider Secure Web Portal by August 1, 2024, or claims will be denied. New COPE and CAPABLE evidence-based home health programs are being added for certain waiver participants.
Action Required
By August 1, 2024: All behavioral health groups and individual enrolled clinicians (psychologists, LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCs, LADCs) must complete their Behavioral Health Attestation via the Provider Secure Web Portal unless already completed during enrollment/re-enrollment after April 11, 2023. Check attestation status on the Behavioral Health Attestation tab in the Provider Portal. Access the 'Unattested Behavioral Health PT 33 Provider List' to see which clinicians need to complete attestations. Claims will be denied starting August 1, 2024 for non-compliance.
