Summary
Connecticut Medicaid has updated the ambulance fee schedule rates for both emergency and non-emergency transportation services, effective July 1, 2024. The new rates are available for download on the CMAP website and apply to all ambulance providers billing Connecticut Medicaid.
Action Required
Immediately: Ambulance billing staff must download the updated Transportation - Basic/Advanced Fee Schedule from www.ctdssmap.com (Provider > Provider Fee Schedule Download). Update billing system with new reimbursement rates for all ambulance services with dates of service July 1, 2024 and forward. Contact Provider Assistance Center at 1-800-842-8440 if assistance is needed accessing the fee schedule.
