Summary
Connecticut Medicaid (CMAP) is updating procedure codes and payment rates for 2024 HCPCS changes effective July 1, 2024, with new documentation tentatively available July 24, 2024. The policy also addresses recoupment of interim payments made during the Change Healthcare cyber attack and provides updates on ICD-10 codes and DRG grouper implementations.
Action Required
By July 24, 2024: Billing team must download updated CMAP Addendum B V25.2 (PDF and Excel versions) from www.ctdssmap.com Hospital Modernization page to ensure compliance with 2024 HCPCS changes. Review payment rate changes for procedure codes with status indicators G or K. Monitor Remittance Advice dated May 29, 2024 for interim payment recoupments identified by reason code 8409.
