Summary
Connecticut DSS is launching an updated Obstetrics Pay for Performance (OBP4P) program for 2025 that provides additional payments to eligible obstetric providers caring for HUSKY Health (Medicaid) members. Providers must register for the program and submit notification forms for each pregnancy episode to earn performance-based bonuses.
Action Required
By January 31, 2025: Eligible obstetric providers (family medicine physicians, OB/GYNs, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified nurse midwives) must complete OBP4P registration at http://www.huskyhealthct.org/providers.html if they want to participate. Submit notification forms via HUSKY Health secure provider portal for each HUSKY Health pregnancy episode by January 31, 2026. Only providers not eligible for Maternity Bundle Payment Program can participate.
