Summary
Connecticut Medicaid (HUSKY Health) is adjusting reimbursement rates for 6 specific clinical diagnostic laboratory codes effective retroactively to January 1, 2025. Claims with these dates of service will be automatically mass adjusted to new rates in the February 2025 claim cycle.
Action Required
By February 25, 2025: Billing team must verify that claims for CPT codes 81457, 81458, 81459, 81462, 81463, and 81464 with dates of service January 1, 2025 and forward are being reimbursed at the new rates on the 02/25/2025 Remittance Advice. Update fee schedules in billing system with the new Connecticut Medicaid rates. Monitor remittance advice for automatic adjustments and address any discrepancies.
