Summary
Connecticut Medicaid providers must immediately report all ownership changes to DSS/Gainwell Technologies before the change occurs. Failure to report ownership changes will result in claim denials, recoupment of paid claims, and inability to complete required Behavioral Health Attestations.
Action Required
Immediately: All providers with recent ownership changes must notify DSS/Gainwell Technologies by emailing ctproviderenrollment@gainwelltechnologies.com and Nicole.Sinisgalli@ct.gov. For future ownership changes, providers must report BEFORE the change occurs. Complete new provider applications for ownership changes that require new NPIs. Failure to report will result in claim denials and recoupment of previously paid claims.
