Summary
Connecticut Medical Assistance Program (CMAP) updated HCPCS codes, ICD-10 codes, and Medical Nutrition Therapy diagnosis requirements effective October 1, 2025. CPT code G2083 rates changed with mass adjustments occurring, and inpatient claims with new codes may suspend until the updated grouper processes them.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team should verify that procedure code G2083 is billing at the correct rate ($1,850.50 for dates 1/1/2024-12/31/2024, $1,450.50 for dates after 12/31/2024). Monitor inpatient claims with October 1, 2025+ dates of service for EOB codes 0693 or 0920 which will auto-reprocess. Download updated CMAP Addendum B from ctdssmap.com and update Table 26 diagnosis codes for Medical Nutrition Therapy services retroactive to July 1, 2025.
