Summary
Effective October 1, 2025, all Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) services previously covered only under HUSKY A, C, and D are now also covered under HUSKY B (Connecticut Medicaid). All ASD services require prior authorization from Carelon Behavioral Health of Connecticut, and providers must be specifically qualified by Carelon BH CT to provide and bill for ASD services.
Action Required
Before October 1, 2025: Billing team must update system to require prior authorization from Carelon Behavioral Health of Connecticut for all ASD services billed to HUSKY B patients. Providers must complete Carelon BH CT qualification process before billing any ASD services. Download current ASD fee schedule from www.ctdssmap.com to verify covered services and rates. Claims will be denied without proper prior authorization and provider qualification.
