Summary
Starting February 1, 2026, all behavioral health providers at FQHCs serving HUSKY Health members must be enrolled in Connecticut Medical Assistance Program (CMAP) and associated with their FQHC. Claims will be denied if performing provider NPIs are missing or not properly associated.
Action Required
Before February 1, 2026: Behavioral health FQHC providers must (1) enroll all performing providers in CMAP using the Gainwell Technologies Provider Enrollment Wizard at www.ctdssmap.com, (2) associate all enrolled providers to the FQHC organization using the 'Maintain Organization Members' panel, and (3) update billing system to include performing provider NPI in Loop ID 2420, Segment NM109, Qualifier 82 for all claims. Claims without valid performing provider NPIs will be denied with EOB codes 0231, 1007, 1008, 1010, or 1011.
