Summary
Claims for CPT code 90791 are incorrectly denying for prior authorization required (error 3003) when no prior auth is actually needed. The system issue has been identified and providers can resubmit affected claims starting February 6, 2026.
Action Required
By 5pm Friday, February 6, 2026: Billing team must resubmit all previously denied CPT 90791 claims through the secure Web portal at www.ctdssmap.com using the Web Claim Submission feature to meet cycle deadline. Note: ASD services with CPT 90791 still require prior authorization with modifier U5.
