Summary
Connecticut Medicaid (CMAP) has updated procedure codes and payment rates for April 2026, added 83 new ICD-10 surgical codes, and will require all attending providers on inpatient claims to be enrolled in CMAP starting May 1, 2026.
Action Required
By May 1, 2026: Verify all attending providers listed on inpatient hospital claims are enrolled in CMAP before claim submission. Update billing system validation rules to check provider enrollment status. Claims will be denied if attending provider is not enrolled. Download updated CMAP Addendum B V27.1 from www.ctdssmap.com when available for new procedure codes and payment rates. Note that claims with new ICD-10 surgical codes will suspend until new grouper is installed.
