Summary
Connecticut Medicaid (CMAP) has updated Addendum B with 2026 HCPCS code changes and APC payment rate adjustments effective April 1, 2026. Additionally, 83 new ICD-10 surgical codes are being added and 2 discontinued, but new codes will suspend claims until the diagnosis grouper is updated.
Action Required
By April 1, 2026: Billing team must download updated CMAP Addendum B V27.1 from www.ctdssmap.com Hospital Modernization page to ensure compliance with 2026 HCPCS changes. Monitor for claims with new ICD-10 surgical codes that may suspend with EOB codes 0693 or 0920 until new diagnosis grouper is installed. Review payment rate changes for procedure codes with status indicators G, K, or K1.
