Summary
Connecticut Medicaid (CMAP) updated Addendum B with 2026 HCPCS code changes and APC payment rate adjustments effective April 1, 2026. The update includes new procedure codes, payment rate changes for status indicators G/K/K1, and 83 new ICD-10 surgical codes that will suspend claims until the new diagnosis grouper is installed.
Action Required
Immediately: Download the updated CMAP Addendum B V27.1 from www.ctdssmap.com Hospital Modernization page. Billing teams must review procedure codes with status indicators G, K, or K1 for payment rate changes and identify new HCPCS codes marked as 'New'. Be aware that inpatient claims with new ICD-10 surgical codes will suspend with EOB codes 0693 or 0920 until the new diagnosis grouper is installed.
