Action Required

Action needed
Billing team must immediately update pharmacy claim submission systems to reflect manufacturer changes: (1) ADD to approved list: LNK International Inc, InnerCare, Wide River Chemical Inc, Jordan Pharmaceuticals Inc, PRN Laboratories Inc, Respa Pharmaceutical Inc, Astra Merck Group, Nard Laboratories Inc, Trinity Technologies Corporation, and Circa Pharmaceuticals Inc; (2) REMOVE from approved list and flag for denial: Almay Inc and Auro Pharmaceuticals Inc. Update formulary references and pharmacy benefits manager communications to reflect these changes. Inform providers and pharmacists that claims containing drugs from deleted manufacturers will be denied. Verify effective dates with NJ Medicaid program Chief Pharmaceutical Services as they are not clearly specified in this newsletter. Retain this document with other policy records for reference.
