Summary
The New Jersey PAAD (Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged and Disabled) program has added Layton BioScience, Inc. (Labeler Code 17205) to its Drug Rebate Program manufacturer list. This affects pharmacy billing for PAAD beneficiaries in New Jersey, as drug coverage may differ between Medicaid and PAAD programs based on manufacturer participation.
Action Required
By January 16, 2001: Pharmacy billing staff should verify Layton BioScience, Inc. products (Labeler Code 17205) are properly configured in the pharmacy management system for PAAD claims processing.
