By February 15, 2026: Billing and clinical teams must review the updated Policy 282.24 (Clinical Criteria for Extraction of Teeth) on www.deltadentaloh.com/Dentist/Our-Plans/Ohio-TriState-Advantage-Network/Clinical-Policies. Dentists must ensure all tooth extraction claims for Ohio Medicaid and Ohio FIDE members comply with the new clinical criteria effective March 1, 2026. Update any internal extraction authorization protocols or documentation requirements. Claims submitted without adherence to the new clinical criteria may be denied.
