Summary
New Jersey Medicaid is increasing mileage reimbursement rates for waiver transportation services under the ABC (medically fragile children) and TBI (traumatic brain injury) programs. The rate for both programs increases to $0.31 per mile, effective for service dates on or after March 1, 2001.
Action Required
By March 1, 2001: Billing team must update the fee schedule in the billing system to reflect the new mileage reimbursement rate of $0.31 per mile for procedure codes Y7358 (ABC transportation) and Y7567 (TBI transportation).
