Summary
New Jersey PAAD (Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged and Disabled) program added Impax Laboratories Inc./Global Pharmaceuticals (Labeler Code 00115) to the manufacturers' rebate program effective July 24, 2002. This expands eligible drug manufacturers for PAAD coverage of legend drugs, diabetic testing supplies, and insulin.
Action Required
By July 24, 2002: Pharmacy billing staff must update their PAAD claim submission systems to recognize Labeler Code 00115 (Impax Laboratories Inc./Global Pharmaceuticals) as a participating manufacturer in the drug rebate program. Verify that prescription claims from this manufacturer process correctly without rebate denials. No action needed if already processing claims from this manufacturer. Retain this newsletter with other PAAD policy documentation for reference.
