Summary
Administrative functions for waiver program enrollments, terminations, and transfers (ABC, ACCAP, TBI, and Model Waivers) are transferring from the Medical Assistance Customer Centers (MACC) to the Division of Disability Services (DDS) effective September 1, 2002. All paperwork and inquiries related to these waiver activities must now be directed to DDS instead of MACC offices.
Action Required
Before September 1, 2002: Update billing team procedures and contact lists to route all waiver program inquiries, enrollments, terminations, and transfer requests to Division of Disability Services (609-588-2620 or fax 609-588-7942) instead of MACC offices. Note that care plan reviews will continue at MACC offices. No immediate billing system changes required, but ensure staff are aware of the new contact procedures to avoid processing delays.
